Apply for the Medique Nursing Leadership Award!!!!
The Medique Nursing Leadership Award honors an outstanding Occupational Health Nurse who has demonstrated exceptional leadership—especially through involvement in professional nursing associations and occupational health initiatives.
Sponsored by Medique Products, a trusted provider of first-aid kits, trauma bags, and workplace safety supplies, this award celebrates nurses who lead with purpose and passion.
This award is designed to:
- Recognize leadership among Occupational Health Nurses at the state level
- Encourage the continued development of leadership skills within the profession
- Raise awareness of the vital role Occupational Health Nurses play for employers and the community
- Support continuing education and professional growth
The Award Includes
- A plaque recognizing leadership achievements
- A $400 monetary award
Eligibility Includes ( all nominations must be in by February 14!)
- Occupational Health Nurses who are active members of the Northeast Association of Occupational Health Nurses (NEAOHN)
- One award recipient will be selected from each member state: ME, NH, VT, MA, RI, CT, NY, NJ, PA, DE
- Self-nominations are encouraged
The awards will be presented at the NEAOHN Annual Meeting on March 23, 2026
at the Workers’ Comp Care Conference, Waltham, MA https://workerscompcare.com/
Submit your nomination or nominate a coworker by email to Nancy@OccHealthConnections.com and include:
- Nominee’s name, title, company, and contact information
- A brief synopsis of professional association involvement (roles, committees, offices held)
- Any additional information you’d like the selection committee to consider
- Indicate whether you plan to attend the March 23, 2026 conference to accept the award
