It is great that AAOHN has so many different “professions” within one organization – the variety has caused AAOHN to ask the question – Would our members enjoy the opportunity to network and interact with other OHN’s within their scope of practice? This is something AAOHN is investigating. Please respond to the forthcoming membership survey to assist with the possible formation of sub-specialty groups.
Another project that AAOHN has begun working on – the 2025 AAOHN Annual Conference in Pittsburgh, PA. Why is it important for you, the members, to know about preparation for the next conference? The conference MUST support and deliver what our members want and need, and the best ways for this to occur is to involve the AAOHN membership. Members should submit to present, deliver a poster, contact AAOHN with possible presentation topics or presenters, and share their ideas on how to deliver the best possible conference.
While you are developing your presentation, why not examine the AAOHN website to see the other benefits that are available? Register for the upcoming webinars on August 8 and September 19, and grab your spot for the Fall COHN/COHN-S Review Course, all of which provide CNEs. Don’t forget to stay up to date on the latest trends and topics relating to occupational and environmental health by checking out our engaging podcast series.
Please take advantage of all the events and benefits available to you as an AAOHN member. AAOHN is here for you.
