Nancy Clover RN, COHN-S, FAAOHN is the founder of Occupational Health Connections, a leading staffing and recruitment agency for occupational and employee health nurses. She is a graduate of the Massachusetts General Hospital School of Nursing and a board-Certified Occupational Health Nurse Specialist and a Fellow of the American Association of Occupational Health Nurses (FAAOHN). Nancy has more than 20 years of experience as an occupational health nurse. She is an active member of the board of directors of the Massachusetts and Northeast Association of Occupational Health Nurses. She has served in various leadership positions. Nancy has served on multiple conference planning committees. She guest lectures at nursing schools on occupational health and has spoken at the National AAOHN conference, co-created a webinar and presented multiple posters. She has a passion for educating fellow nurses!

Debra Dyleski-Najjar, Esq., is president and founder of the Najjar Employment Law Group, P.C. and has practiced employment law for over 37 years. She is a graduate of Wellesley College, and Boston University School of Law, and is admitted to practice before the state and federal courts of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine, as well as the United States Supreme Court. She is founder of NELGPC, a labor, employment, and benefits boutique law firm to provide strategic legal advice. Before establishing NELGPC, she was an equity partner in the Boston office of a 250-attorney regional law firm. She is known to have extensive experience as a labor, employment, and benefits attorney.  She is a Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers and served as Chair of the First Circuit Credentialing Committee. She and her firm have received many prestigious awards and accolades. She serves as the Government Affairs Director for the Massachusetts State Council of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), and as the Legislative Director of the Greater Merrimack Valley Human Resource Association.

Donna Ferriera MS, ANP, COHN-S/CM, FAAOHN Donna C. Ferreira is Director of Clinical Operations for Premise Health.  She has over 34 years of experience in occupational health nursing. She is board certified in occupational health nursing, case management, hearing conservation, and as an adult nurse practitioner.  She is the President of the Massachusetts Association of Occupational Health Nurses and has served on the Board for 14 years.  Donna is a Fellow of the American Association of Occupational Health Nurses.  She has received multiple awards for her excellence in Occupational Health Nursing. She received her master’s degree from the University of Massachusetts Graduate School of Nursing and her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Fitchburg State College. She has extensive speaking experience, both nationally and internationally, and has published multiple articles.

Margaret Finucane, RN, COHN-S/CM received her RN degree from Monroe Community College. She has worked in the Emergency Department of local hospitals for 40 years, has been an occupational nurse  and an active EMT in her local community for the past 30+ years. Currently, she is the Nurse Educator for Rochester Regional Health in Occupational Medicine and manages First Aid, CPR, AED, Blood Borne Pathogen, and reasonable suspicion trained for staff in companies throughout New York, Texas, and Florida. Maggie has been a speaker at National, State and Local occupational nursing conferences. She is the past president of NYSAOHN and is currently treasurer for NYSAOHN.

David Gray, CPO is an ABC Certified Orthotist/Prosthetist and Assistant Chief of Prosthetics of VA Boston Healthcare Systems. He is educated and trained to manage comprehensive orthotic and/or prosthetic patient care. This includes patient assessment, formulation of a treatment plan, implementation of the treatment plan, follow-up, and practice management. Documentation by the orthotist and/or prosthetist is part of the patient’s medical record and assists with establishing medical necessity for orthotic and/or prosthetic care. He has been a licensed clinician for over 10 years.

Rob Guillory, MSN, RN, OHN, CEAP has served honorably in the United States Navy as a Nurse and has cared for patients on three continents. He has blended his life-long experiences with a passion for serving others and has found his greatest professional joy in helping others to succeed. Rob oversees an Occupational Medicine company that conducts drug screens for over 200 local/regional clients, completes drug screen collections for multi-state organizations across 6 states, and collaboratively oversees TPA, MRO, and Compliance groups with over 1500 clients across the United States. Additionally, he oversees a mobile medical division which conducts OSHA and FMCSA regulated physicals and testing across the country. From on-site Hazmat Physicals to Audiometric testing, he helps employers and employees minimize impact to their daily operational lives by performing these required services at their locations.

Dr. Kurt Hofmann is a Board-Certified orthopedic foot and ankle surgeon at New England Baptist Hospital. He completed is medical school and residency training at Tufts University School of Medicine, and a foot and ankle fellowship at New England Baptist Hospital. His clinical interests lie in foot and ankle surgery, including ankle arthroscopy, minimally invasive foot and ankle surgery, and total ankle replacement. He is an active member of American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS) and American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS).

Kelvin Jones, RN, COHN, Kelvin Jones RN, COHN has been an occupational health nurse since 2006 working for Comprehensive Health Services, now Premise Health. He was the Health Center Manager who assisted with the design and implementation of an onsite occupational health clinic at a large defense contractor in Mississippi. He provided urgent care, first aid, medical surveillance, and wellness programs to over 800 employees. Kelvin presented a poster on creating award winning wellness programs at the New England College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine and at the National AAOHN Conference in Nashville, Tennessee. Currently, Kelvin is the Supervisor of Case Management and provides virtual case management for over 100,000 employees around the world.

Dr. Hervey Kimball is an Orthopedic Surgeon at New England Baptist Hospital, specializing in treating the hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow, as well as some shoulder problems. In addition to his work at NEBH, he holds an academic appointment as Assistant Clinical Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Tufts University School of Medicine. He serves as diplomat for the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS) and is a fellow for both the American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH) and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery (AAOS). He is also a member of several professional societies including the American Medical Association. Dr Kimball has been a friend to MaAOHN speaking at many of our conferences.

Sheila Litchfield, RN, BSN, FAAOHN, COHN-S-Ret has been an active member of her state, regional, local and national AAOHN chapters for over 30 years.  Sheila is board certified in Occupational Health and as a CAOHC provider.   Sheila’s work was recognized by AAOHN and was granted fellowship for the impact she has had on our field.  With over 22 years of experience as a Consultant and Health & Safety Manager for Litchfield Consulting LLP, Sheila has provided technical guidance on numerous occupational health and fitness for duty programs and management consultations in a variety of work setting while also serving the Town or Rowe as the town Nurse.  As past president of MaAOHN, Sheila’s guidance reinforced the core values of the organization and developed a working plan which we continue to use today.  Sheila has served as the Executive Director of MaAOHN for the last few years. 

Dr. Suzanne Miller completed her medical school and her residency training at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, followed by a sports medicine fellowship at The University of Pittsburgh. She has a master’s degree from Columbia University in Exercise Physiology. She is Board Certified and holds a subspecialty certificate in Orthopedic Sports Medicine. She serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor at Tufts University School of Medicine and is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS), American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM), Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA) and the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons (ASES). Her clinical interests lie in treating sports medicine injuries of the shoulder, knee, and hamstring. She has published over 50 peer-reviewed publications and chapters and has presented at over 35 national meetings. She has several ongoing clinical trials involving shoulder and hamstring injuries.

Dr. Kai Mithofer is the Director of Cartilage Repair and Regeneration at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates in Boston and a Clinical Instructor in Orthopedic Surgery at Harvard Medical School. He received his medical degree from Heinrich-Heine university in Dusseldorf Germany. He obtained his residency training in Orthopedic Surgery at Harvard Medical School and completed a fellowship in Shoulder and Sports Medicine at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. Dr. Mithoefer is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine in both the USA and Germany. He has been a member of the ICRS since 2003 and is currently serving as the co-chair of the ICRS Rehabilitation and Sports Committee. His research interest is in the clinical application and evaluation of novel tissue engineering techniques for articular cartilage repair with a special focus on their use in the high-demand athletic population.

Kim Olszewski, DNP, CRNP, COH-S/CM, FAAOHN, FAAN is an ANCC board certified adult nurse practitioner and is a ABOHN Certified Occupational Health Nurse Specialist and Case Manager.  In 2007, she received her Fellowship distinction from the American Association of Occupational Health Nurses (AAOHN), American Association of Nurse Practitioners in 2023, and Fellowship (FAAN) from the American Academy of Nursing in 2020. She is immediate past president of AAOHN and is past President of the Northeast Association of Occupational Health Nurses and the Pennsylvania Association of Occupational Health Nurses. She has presented at the local, state, regional and national levels of the association over the past 20 years on various topics. Kim is Director of Client and Medical Provider Services at DISA Global Solutions Inc. and is Sr. Associate Dean for Commonwealth University’s School of Nursing.

Jason Rand, PA-C is the Physician Assistant to Dr. Brian McKeon, diagnosing and treating a variety of orthopedic injuries. He attended Cornell University where he completed multiple elective orthopedic rotations and earned his degree in Physician Assistant Studies. He also earned a master’s degree in physical therapy from Northeastern University where he worked as a licensed Physical Therapist, rehabbing patients with sports-related injuries. His initial clinical training took place at the New England Baptist Hospital in the sports medicine service. He has extensive experience with steroid and viscosupplementation injections, and often lectures around the country on intra-articular injections and techniques. His interests lie in biological injections, like PRP. He serves as preceptor for several PA programs and participates in ongoing clinical trials.

Dr. Michael (Micki) Reinhorn, MD, MBA, FACS, is a board-certified general surgeon, associate clinical professor of surgery at Tufts University, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, specializing in hernia surgery and work related groin injuries. Dr. Reinhorn serves as a consultant for the American Board of Surgery to help define the standard of care in inguinal hernia surgery. He has lectured nationally about groin injuries, defining value in hernia care, patient reported outcomes, opioid reduction strategies and inguinal hernia surgery and anatomy. He has authored and co-authored peer reviewed publications and book chapters on inguinal hernia surgery. Dr. Reinhorn founded Boston Hernia, is the chairperson of the opioid reduction task force for the Abdominal Core Health Quality Collaborative (ACHQC), working to identify ways to reduce opioid prescribing and utilization in hernia patients. He is also passionate about improving value within the healthcare system for patients, providers, payers, and employers - seeking to raise the standard for quality in hernia care.

Dr. Chardi Tannoury was born in Lebanon and earned his medical training at the Lebanese University of Beirut and completed his Orthopedic residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. He completed fellowship training in Spine Surgery at RUSH University Medical Center in Chicago. He is trained to treat a wide spectrum of spinal pathologies including minimally invasive spine surgery, spinal surgery for degenerative conditions, reconstruction for deformative conditions and spinal trauma. He has won multiple awards and honors recognizing his outstanding clinical achievements, kindness, and compassion for his patients. He has presented nationally, and internationally, and contributed to more than 50 peer reviewed articles, chapters, and abstracts. His work also includes the art of medical illustrations and has been included in multiple publications.

Dr. Mary A. Taschner, DNP, ANP-BC is a board-certified Adult Nurse Practitioner with experience in occupational and environmental health, ambulatory care, long term care and disaster preparedness.  Dr. Taschner has taught nursing at multiple universities, most recently in the DNP program at Rocky Mountain University.  Dr. Taschner worked as a senior health care consultant at Health Care Management Associates and has experience as a nurse expert witness.  Mary has been active in MaAOHN serving on our educational committee.

Thomas H. Wuerz, MD earned his Doctor of Medicine from Eberhard-Karls University of Tuebingen in Germany, followed by a residency in orthopedic surgery at the Inselspital in Berne, Switzerland. He was chosen as the Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA) healthy policy fellow and was awarded the traveling fellowship of the international Society for Hip Arthroscopy (ISHA) with training at The Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colorado, and at the Schulthess Klinik in Zurich, Switzerland. His Clinical interests lie in sports medicine and hip preservation with a focus on hip arthroscopy. He has assisted with the care of athletes in high school, college, and professional sports, including the Chicago Bulls (NBA) and White Sox (MLB).
