The New York Nurse Alliance (NYNA) is a coalition of nurse leaders from New York based nursing organizations. We meet monthly via Zoom to discuss issues relevant to our profession. We are gradually growing as we become aware of more nursing organizations in our state. We invite two representatives from each organization, usually the President and Executive Director, or others as you see fit from your organization to be the persons attending the monthly meetings so there is some consistency. There is no cost to join.
It is a great way to connect with other statewide nursing organizations across the state. We discuss issues impacting practice, education, advocacy, and research. We share information about each respective organization and collaborate where appropriate. We have co-signed letters around certain issues showing a unified voice for the profession.
Attached is the current list of members and a brief statement about our purpose. If your organization would like to join, please email me the names and emails of your two representatives and I will add you to the email invite list. Our next meeting is Friday, Nov. 18th at 3:00 pm.
I look forward to meeting you,
Deb
