Now Hiring: Clinical Nurse II – Inpatient (6 Cathcart, General Med‑Surg)

Full-Time Nights | Pennsylvania Hospital

Pennsylvania Hospital is seeking a Full-Time Clinical Nurse II to join our dynamic 6 Cathcart team. This is a night shift role (7p–7a, 36 hrs/week) with every 3rd weekend.

About 6 Cathcart:

6 Cathcart is a 43-bed, high-acuity medical‑surgical unit known for exceptional patient outcomes, strong interdisciplinary collaboration, and outstanding staff engagement. The team consistently exceeds national benchmarks in quality, patient satisfaction, and employee experience.

Patient Population Includes:

• Colorectal

• Urology

• Gynecology

• ENT (Otorhinolaryngology)

• General Surgery

• Plus a mix of general medicine patients

Nursing Support & Ratios:

• RN assignments: typically 3–5 patients, depending on acuity

• Supported by highly skilled PCTs (8–12 patients each), who assist with vital signs, phlebotomy, EKGs, ADLs, ambulation, and more
